:To See or Not to See

I confess to being dissapointed! It was proper Indy, good cast well acted, great action, crap story. Aliens? What the hell! It annoyed me cos up till the end it was brilliant, and i want to give it 4 popcorns based on that but im not sure i can bring myself to do that. Indy always has a mystical element but it is based on earth and in history this was just a bit too weird. I think Lucas got confused about what film he was making. Dissapointing. Worth seeing though for the first ages of the film, just shut your eyes bout 20 minutes before the end and you have classic Indy genius!

This was great, very funny and entertaining. I dont really know what else to say. I enjoyed it a lot and laughed a lot. Which essentially is the same thing as i opened with but i felt this post could be too short if i didnt add to it. So there you go!

This really wasnt that good! I was disappointed, although i dont know quite what I expected! I like Patrick Dempsey but there was no chemistry and it was predictable beyond normal. Oh well. Excitement was added by a bit of confusion in that Paul told me there was supposed to be a clever twist at the end so i was guessing what it was all the way through, and then at the end i found out it was a joke. It did give the film a bit of an edge! It is basically my best friends wedding.

After 8 days without going to the cinema due to extreme coursework stress, yesterday i went twice and this was the second film i saw. I think it is slightly unfortunate i saw it second cos i think i would have enjoyed it much more if it had been first. However as kids films go it was good. It is definatly a kids film, but Jodie Foster is funny, Abigail Breslin is cute and Gerard Butler is cool. I liked it. I think they could have had a bit more of group stuff on the island because the chemistry between the adult leads was good but there wasnt so much of that. Oh well! It was fun.

I wanted to see this for ages but I wasnt really sure what it would be like, but in the end I loved it! It was funny, very colourful and just different. The car sequences were cool and all in all it was just wicked! Dont expect oscar winning performances or anything it is just a fun and exciting film, set in a world that is very strange and exagerated. Go see it!

Of all the comic book movies this year this is the one i was originally least excited about. As the trailers came out i got more excited until i was really almost as excited about this as i am about Wanted and the Dark Knight. I wasnt dissapointed. Empire said it dragged a little in the middle, others have agreed however i was very happy. Robert Downey Junior was fantastic and thoroughly entertaining and probably made the movie. It was also nice to see Gwyneth again as she hasnt been around very much recently. It was fun, happy and exciting. Definatly one to watch!
