I actually knew nothing about this other than the cast, which made it fun! I really enjoyed it, Hugh Jackman basically messes up Ewan McGreggors life with charm sex and then meanness! I really enjoyed it, worth seeing its a kind of battle of the wills.
I didnt really know anything about this, other than the fact that it has Elijah Wood in it. Elijah Wood was good! I havnt seen him in anything since Lord of the Rings, so its nice to see it hasnt completely ended his career. This film had a very midsomer murders feel, it was a little bit weird and not exactly cheery! It was quite clever though. If you dont know its about a guy and his professor who try to solve murders in Oxford using maths. It has quite a clever twist and was generally absorbing. I still cant quite explain how i felt about it though.

This was not really what i was expecting. It was slower with less action, however that didnt really stop it from being very funny and very good. Ralph Feinnes is just simply genius and his accent is wicked. Colin Farrell was very funny and much better than you would have expected. It has a lot of blood and violence particularly at the end and when i say slow i dont mean boring i just mean not fast cars and endless shooting, although there is rather a lot of that! Worth seeing.

I love Keanu Reeves, I think if he is in an action movie it is going to be good mindless crap. This was a good film, but not testing to the mind. Lots of shooting and shouting and fast driving. Forest Whittaker and Hugh Laurie were cool and added a bit of acting skill. I really liked the soundtrack too, it was very base heavy but it kind of went well with the story. Definatly worth seeing.

I really enjoyed this, largely because of Kevin Spacey who it has to be said is AMAZING! He was good in this too, he was a nasty person which is always fun. The lead guy was also pretty good and laurence fishburne too. All in all, good fun, predictable plot but well presented so i liked it and will probably buy it.

I really wasnt sure i wanted to see this, which probably was the reason i enjoyed it. It wasnt great it had sudden plot twists and seemed quite abrupt but it was gentle fun. The idea of it is horrific, being awake while having your heart taken out is horrible and Hayden Christianson did well in portraying the nastiness of it. However neither of the leads were particularly genius. Fun but forgettable.

Ok so today was dissertation hand in day so to celebrate i went to the cinema and saw three films today! This was the first and it was fantastic. I have been looking forward to seeing it for ages, the trailers looked funny and the idea was great. It was made by the two lead child actors who were both fantastic and emotional and funny. I loved it, definatly worth seeing.

I wanted to see this cos it had Djimon Hounsou in it and i think he is a wicked actor. It was crap, he was good, but the film was crap. I did enjoy the fighting, for the same reason i enjoyed the dancing in Step up, it looks cool! Talking of Step Up this was actually the same film only in the place of dancing there was fighting! They both had the lead arriving at a new school and not fitting in, meeting a geeky friend who is into the same things as them (both boys with long curly hair), they both met a love interest they fought with at the beginning then fell in love with half way through (although they were secretly in love from the beginning), they both had the showdown in a secret location that was given to them by text a few hours before the event, they both for some reason couldnt compete in the actual event and had to take it outside and they both won. It was incredible! The same film with dancing for the girl and fighting for the boy!

I wanted to see this because i like the dancing. I wasnt disappointed, the dancing was great! However the plot was crap and as a film goes it really wasnt great. It was your standard teen movie not great performances and certainly nothing like the original which was much better.

I really enjoyed this! It hasnt had the best reviews but it made me happy. Its a gentle, occasionally funny, romantic film that is really harmless. There were a couple of cringy bits, particularly when she announces on a mic that she is in love in front of people she does not know, which annoyed me cos he was right there so she could have whispered it in his ear! Other than that i really enjoyed it.
