Smoking Aces

I saw this on the same day I saw Miss Potter, and as a result I think it lost much of what it otherwise could have had. It was fun, a mob movie all about everyone trying to kill one man, so naturally in the process everyone kills everyone! Definatly an 18 with lots of blood and guts, and slightly confusing! Definatly too many everyones which makes for too many stories, but i got the general gist and enjoyed.

Miss Potter

This was very exciting for me because i went to see it on my own! I have wanted to go to the cinema on my own for a while but never seem to find the time. Anyway i loved it! This was probably the best film i have seen in a long while. Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor star and they are both fantastic. It is very sad and i was sitting all alone crying my heart out but it is wonderful. I dont really know what else to say! Go see it.

Pursuit of Happyness

This was fantastic. It is beautifully made and very real. Will Smith plays Chris Gardner a poor man who is looking for a better life, basically! Except he has a son which is where this story really touches you. Will Smiths real life son plays his son in this film and the chemistry between them is amazing. It is a bit slow in places but all in all a must see.

Night at the Museum

I saw this a few weeks ago so excuse me if the details are vague, but i do remember that i enjoyed it very much! It has an amazing cast including Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Ricky Gervais, Steve Coogan, and Owen Wilson (who i dont really like but was kind of funny in this). THe best bit of the film was any part that included the little people - owen wilson and steve coogan. Other than that, very enjoyable and fun but i cant really remember!
