Children of Men

This has to be way up there with Superman i think for top films of the year. I didnt really know what to expect as i hadnt actually seen a trailer or really knew what it was about. It is about a childrenless world after the women of the world become infertile and how that effects society, also about the fact that there is a pregnant lady who needs protection from pretty much everyone - this is where clive owen comes in. It is a sad film in places but the fact that it was all about new life and a child seemed to take away from all of the despair that the lack of children bought, balancing it out nicely.

It has a terrific cast with Clive Owen backed by Michael Caine and other such stars. Definatly worth seeing.

You, Me and Dupree

I saw this a few weeks ago now so this is not going to be exactly a detailed reveiw, just a basic outline - I got behind again!

It was funny, typical of Owen Wilson, who after playing the same character for ever is beginning to bore me. It is an easy film to watch and definatly has its moments. I think its worth waiting for DVD for this one, which might actually be the only option as im not sure its still in cinemas!
